Having not driven the ST for a couple months since changing wheels (I've done this 3x or more and didn't recall having to leave the driver's door open to relearn TPMS.) I was dismayed that the interior lights were not shutting off in 30 sec after any door open/running. I would leave hoping the battery would be OK. Turns out the rear hatch was not secured (I had removed a 15" spare from a long trip - stacks nicely with floor removed,) and the warning was the "door open" light, not a dedicated hatch shape! Also I did confirm that unwanted door chirps that struck me 3000 miles from home could be cured by cycling ignition with the door open (probably how they started.)

Yup. An unclosed hatch will just give you that. There's not a separate one for the hatch.
