Will a st 6 speed short throw work in a 5 speed titanium?

First post here! I was looking for some advice on a short throw for my 2016 titanium 1.6. I found a boomba racing st short throw kit that looks to be similar to my 5 speed stock setup. Was just concerned about if it'll work or not. Geometry looks about the same so does the over all design but at the $455 price tag I'm hesitant to buy it and have it not work correctly. Was wondering if anyone has done it to theirs?
