What I Drive
2016 Ford Ranger
#1
Hello to you all, I am a new member on this page and hoping that someone can help me as my 2016 Ford Ranger with a 2.2-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine has had a slight mishap as it has been determined that I have oil in my water system and not water in my engine oil. Has anyone had this problem and what is the fix for this as I was to the understanding that it maybe a bad head gasket or a cracked head, but it does not overheat and the mechanic is trying to tell me that it needs an engine replacement, which I find hard to believe as it starts and sort of runs, but looks like a steam train from the large amount of condensation coming out of the exhaust
pipe. I look forward in hearing back from someone who might have had the same thing happen to them.
