Backstory
Ordered her new from the US while living in Germany for 2 years. First ~10K miles have been all over the European Continent traveling. Still rock my old German plate to this day. Lived in Texas for a minute and drove her all over and eventually to our home in Denver, CO. Now my daily grocery getter, commuter, mountain ripper and main love for a first car. She's not loud and fast, but I enjoy all the memories and fun times. I try to take good care of her and keep her clean in hopes that she'll be my only car.

Thanks for the list....more ideas for me to ponder.
Does that Superwrap work well? They have a Daytona yellow I might use on my wing one day, but haven't heard of this brand before.
Curious about why air ride? Any thoughts you'd like to share on that?
How do you like the mirror lights?

I haven't used the Superwrap yet, I chose the worst time of year to buy it. You have to have at least 65 degrees of ambient temp to work with the stuff (Its been dropping consistently low enough here in Denver). Id rather wait and prevent myself from messing something up and I wont be trying to drive in the snow on the fresh wrap. They promise ALOT more than plasti dip, but I will post my experience when it warms up.

Ever since I was a kid, seeing air ride blew my mind. Always been that dream to have a car running it. It's definitely one of those "why do it" mods, but thought to myself life is short, make the car I want it to be. Real benefits though, I am hoping for a more comfy feel. I don't auto cross really, just mild spirited driving. So performance suspension isn't a must for me. Plus air it out for car shows or when I want it low. But I have the advantage to air it up when theres a bit of snow on the ground or need that extra height. Dropping low on coilovers, could do the same for a fraction of the price, but its one of those things I'd rather just have all the above. And not be scared to hit a chunk of ice and cracks an eventual splitter/bumper. Air Ride has come along way that most of the myths to be concerned about, don't need to be.

Love the lights, order them! worth the few bucks, come with extra bulbs too. Its a bit of a pain in the ass to get the cover off. They are so worth it.

Thanks for all that, sundaynightcoffee!

FYI on the dip... I learned, some where, to warm the can in hot water before you spray. I tried it at 3 different temp and warming the can so it's pretty warm to the touch works best. Do not do what I did an rely on Alexa to remind you to turn off the stove and water. Heat the water, remove the pot from the stove....theeeeeennnnn put the can in for a few minutes. The can swells up and the sprayer pops off....end of $6 bucks! 58 and still act like 16 sometimes........DOH!!!!!

I like the idea of LED signal mirrors. But, i want them to be very bright. These don't seem to be brighter. But the black appearance is nice. I would be ordering a superbright version of this in a heartbeat.

I looked at the other videos of the install. Didn't see any side by side comparison of them in a nighttime situation. Signal lamps need to be bright. I still like the sequential effect. But it has to scream "look at me"!

I am pretty old school and remember in drivers ed being taught how to signal out the window...so for me these mirror lights are like a decoration. [driving]

I tend to feel the Same way about the LED, or any light conversion. It needs a High Contrasting area - like a mask - around it to "soak up the light - cast a shadow" to allow the light to have a means to even get noticed.

So the iSincer may be on hold until I see better lighting - there is too little life left in me and I want to enjoy the fact that I can show which direction I want to go and the vehicle can help me do so...

But what I wanted to point out that I thought was kinda cool, he has Heated mirrors, that's the Element in that mount...

Hmmm...
To give it Credit, it was done during the Day...

You know, Amazon and Autozone have similar plug in Wedge 194 replacements that are Amber brighter than the #194 (5W) - make is closer to a 912 (12W) or 921 (21W) just don't know how much room in in there to press/squeeze these LED types in the OEM.

Now the rate of flash is good, just not sure - yet...

Thanks for that show!

That looks neat, that "blackout" Mirror standoff really accents the trim accessory well!

But give it some time to work and you can get used to it. I Would like to hear back on how you feel about the "functionality" the light provides versus the OEM stock one
